St. Paul Elder Services (SPES), a community dedicated to enriching the life experience of the individuals they serve, is partnering with Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Funeral Home to offer a free seminar on advance funeral planning. The discussion will walk participants through different options they may come across while planning a funeral, what families can do to avoid mistakes that are sometimes made during times of grief and how these decisions can affect loved ones.
SPES and the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Funeral Home have a collaborative relationship to support those navigating the loss of a loved one, and hope that through sharing knowledge they can help people make decisions they feel good about during a time of grief and bring peace to people when they need it most.
Advance Funeral Planning: Gaining Knowledge, Providing Peace will be held on Monday, November 7 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. at the Hoffman Memory Care Resource Center at St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna. The entrance is located at 221 E 13th Street (map).
This event is free, but participants must register by calling (920) 766-6020 ext. 102 or emailing lauriel1@stpaulelders.org. A light meal will be included for all attendees.
