St. Paul Elder Services (SPES), a community dedicated to enriching the life experience of the individuals they serve, invites the community to its annual car show on Monday, August 21 from 3–6 p.m. at the SPES Kaukauna campus, located at 316 E. 14th Street (map). This fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s will feature a community brat fry, which was originally planned for June but postponed due to unhealthy air quality, live music from Still Cruisin’ and a 50/50 raffle.
Funds raised will support teams of SPES associates that are participating in the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, held in both Green Bay and the Fox Cities. Walks are held each year in more than 600 communities and in 2022, SPES was the largest team to participate and fundraise in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Fox Cities, raising $11,225.
“Each year I’m amazed by the overwhelming support and generosity from our community in making this fundraising event a success,” said Becky Reichelt, executive vice president at St. Paul Elder Services. “We are looking forward to connecting with our community for a good cause. Together, we are taking a significant step forward in providing resources and support for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s.”
