SPES’ commitment to Alzheimer’s support and research demonstrated with Walk to End Alzheimer’s event

Last month, the St. Paul Elder Services (SPES) team participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Fox Cities. As the largest participating team, SPES fundraised more than $8,000 – the most of any team.

Bella, SPES’ therapy dog, was also in attendance, but instead of walking, she hosted a selfie station to cheer on other participants!

St. Paul Elder Services fully embraces the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association, which is to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia through global research, risk reduction, early detection and quality care. The event is an excellent way for SPES to bring awareness to the disease while giving back to the community in a fun, active way.

In total, the Fox Cities walk raised more than $80,000.
