Caring for a loved one is a journey filled with joys, challenges, and constant learning. At St. Paul Elder Services, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive resource library located within our Memory Care Resource Center, designed to support caregivers every step of the way. While the collection focuses primarily on dementia care, we also offer books on general caregiving, personal memoirs, self-care, and practical tips for navigating the emotional and logistical challenges of caregiving.

We’re excited to share our newest addition: The Unexpected Journey by Emma Heming Willis, wife of actor Bruce Willis. In this heartfelt memoir, Emma reflects on the unexpected twists life can take and the resilience it calls forth. She emphasizes the importance of staying present, finding strength in vulnerability, and seeking support when needed—lessons that resonate deeply for anyone caring for a loved one.

You can check out the books for free, or sit and “taste test” a few options while enjoying a cup of coffee in a relaxed setting. The library is open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or by appointment.
