10 Years of St. Paul Manor: Celebrating a Decade of Dignified Memory Care

Ten years ago, St. Paul Elder Services opened the doors to St. Paul Manor at its Kaukauna campus, a dedicated memory care community that has played an integral role in our service offerings ever since. St. Paul Manor welcomed its first residents in June 2016, and within weeks, every bed was filled. That early demand showed that families were searching for memory care options they could trust. We’re honored to provide those options for families, residents and community members to this day.

The Manor Name

The St. Paul Manor name didn’t begin with the current building. Before the campus-based community existed, St. Paul Manor was located in an off-campus building that served residents and families for many years. The location had been a pillar to the community and an important piece of St. Paul’s identity, which is why the name St. Paul Manor remains in honor of that location.

The new location broke ground in 2015 with the intention of providing even more local options for people and their families who were navigating the varying needs that accompany the phases of memory loss.

St. Paul Manor Today

St. Paul Manor continues to serve as a cornerstone of St. Paul Elder Services continuum of care, offering specialized care from a team trained to support the physical, mental and social needs of residents living with the memory loss symptoms of dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Beyond residential care, the Passages Memory Care program exists within St. Paul Manor. Passages offers programs not only for residents but for community members and their caretakers who benefit from education, connection and respite care.

Looking Ahead

St. Paul Manor is just part of the values that have long guided St. Paul Elder Services: dignity, compassion and respect for every person.

As we mark a decade of St. Paul Manor, we look to the next decade as an opportunity to expand our reach while continuing to honor the mission that has guided us from the beginning. With plans to renovate and enhance our facilities, we will continue to ensure that those we serve benefit from campuses that meet their evolving needs for years to come, providing comfort, connection and dignified care.
