Meet Marty, a committed volunteer at St. Paul Elder Services.
Marty is a veteran, and he volunteers his time visiting with other fellow veterans living at our Kaukauna campus. These visits are more than just social calls; they are a testament to the camaraderie, respect and deep-rooted bonds formed between those who have served.
Marty also facilitates special veteran ceremonies where he presents flags and certificates to veterans, acknowledging their service and sacrifice.
We were fortunate enough to capture one of these ceremonies on video. In it, you’ll see Marty honoring a World War II veteran, presenting him with a flag and certificate. This video is a tribute not only to the WWII veteran but also to Marty – a volunteer whose commitment to honoring our veterans is truly inspiring.
