One key element to a fulfilled life is social connection, so it’s of the utmost importance that seniors have someone they can communicate or spend time with regularly. St. Paul Elder Services, along with the Outagamie County Aging Unit, fill this essential need with the ElderMatch program.
ElderMatch connects those 60 and older living in Outagamie County with volunteers that communicate with them through visits, phone calls and letters, leading to a mutually beneficial relationship that increases the health and wellbeing of all involved. Often, the greatest gift someone can offer is their companionship.
To become a volunteer through ElderMatch, contact Josie at (920) 766-6020 ext.108 or josiet@stpaulelders.org.
