St. Paul Elder Services is thrilled to welcome Corinne Miller to the team as its new hospice administrator. As hospice administrator, Miller is responsible for overseeing all of SPES’ hospice services, which provide end-of-life care to people across five counties including people who are living in their own homes, on SPES’ campuses in Kaukauna and Green Bay and in other residential facilities.
Miller is tasked with ensuring that the care provided by the SPES hospice team is an extension of the person-centered, dignified care that SPES provides to everyone it serves in all of life’s phases. She approaches this responsibility by drawing on her experience as a long-term care RN.
“I’ve always felt that there are two times in life that are especially prayerful, powerful and important – one when a human is born and the other when a human passes,” Miller said. “It is through hospice that I can use my professional training and life experiences to help people, along with their families and caretakers, move peacefully through this time and have it be as comfortable as possible.”
In observance of November being National Hospice Month, SPES extends its deepest gratitude to Miller and its many associates whose knowledge and empathy allow them to offer medical care and supplies, social work, education, advance care planning assistance, bereavement services and emotional and spiritual support to those in greatest need, as well as their loved ones.
